Sebastiano, we had a wonderful afternoon with Michael yesterday. He was so professional and helped us with our SIM card purchase so we can be "plugged in" once my husband returns to the US. We will be happy to recommend you and your company including on Travel advisor where we found you. Sincerely,

While on our fabulous cruise around the Mediterranean we were informed of a change in plan from the original port in Greece (due to a dock worker’s strike), which resulted in a last minute diversion to Sicily. While in Rome we were able to locate an Internet cafe and check on Cruise Critic for tour suggestions. We found recommendations for Sicily Life at www.sicilylife.com and quickly e-mailed them for information. Within a couple of hours, Sebastiano replied to our request. With only a few hours to arrange a tour he was able to give us three choices. We decided on the TAORMINA AND SURROUNDING AREA TOUR for 50 Euro each. He really had to scramble since we were a group of 12 arriving the next morning! We were met at the dock in Messina right on time with Sebastiano driving an 8 passenger van and Antonio taking 4 passengers in a Mercedes sedan. The drive from Messina was beautiful, through the countryside and many tunnels to the medieval village of Castelmola where we were provided access to the 15th century church on the square as Antonio is a close friend to the priest and was able to get the key. Across the square we had a lovely wine tasting at the Etna Café with delicious cheese, bread and olives. They also had Limoncello for sale so we bought a couple of bottles to take with us for toasting at the end of the tour, Sebastiano even obtained cups for our use later in the day. On the way back down to Taormina we stopped at many beautiful overlooks and even got great sightings of Mt. Etna as the cloud cover cleared enough to see the steaming vents surrounded by snow. The next stop was Sebastiano’s hometown of Taormina. We had a great lunch after which he gave us a detailed history of the town, he is very knowledgeable but as we were 11 women and only 1 man shopping held a high priority. He left us to it and the shops were wonderful with every kind of goods you could wish to see, from pastry to party clothes and jewelry. The view of the sea at the end of the shopping street is not to be missed. There is also a Greek Theatre right in town on a short side street. Both Sebastiano and Antonio were excellent guides and had answers for our many and varied questions. They went above and beyond in arranging this great tour on short notice and accommodating our every request. Our last stop was an overlook providing an amazing view of the beautiful blue bay below. We opened our bottle of Limoncello and toasted Sicily and our guides who provided us with this unforgettable adventure.

This was the first visit of our family to Sicily and the first time we have ever used a tour guide service. Our trip spanned 10 days and was planned to experience as much of the island as possible. Originally we had planned to rent a car and do the driving ourselves, so when we decided to use Sicily Life instead we approached the situation with a certain degree of trepidation and anxiety as we were turning control of a long anticipated vacation to someone else.
I am very pleased to say that we need not have worried. From our first inquiries with Sicily Life to the moment we were finally dropped off at the airport, Sicily life exceeded our expectations in every way.
Our first contact with Sebastiano, the Director of Sicily Life, was very professional. He responded to our inquiry very quickly and worked hard with us via email to organize an itinerary that would meet our vacation goals. His prompt and professional response was the single biggest reason we choose this company. We also found the Sicily Life web site very informative and helpful.
Upon our arrival at the Palermo airport, Antonio, our driver / guide met us at the gate. While we were all a bit apprehensive in the beginning traveling with a stranger, Antonio’s warm and friendly manner immediately put us all at ease. Less than one hour into our drive along the northern coast towards Cefalu, we knew that hiring this company was the best decision. During our 10 day travels in Sicily we toured all over the island and Sicily Life provided us with two different guides during our visit; Antonio and Luca. Antonio and Luca were always warm and professional. They are extremely knowledgeable about the history of Sicily. Their knowledge of the economy, architecture, people, food, flora, and history of the island added such an incredible dimension to our overall experience. It was not just their knowledge that made our time with them so enjoyable. It was the obvious love and passion they feel for their home. They clearly wanted us to share their deep feelings for Sicily and its people. In this they were successful. Every day they made sure that our children were comfortable, that we found the best little places to eat, and that we didn’t miss the small things that make up the wonderful landscape. By the time we departed we felt as though we had found two new family members. We just loved these guys.
I would highly recommend this company to anybody. I can’t imagine a better investment or way insure a wonderful and meaningful vacation in Sicily. Antonio and Luca really made us feel special, and Sebastiano’s flexibility and professionalism were first rate all the way.
Thank you guys for the best trip ever to a very special place!

Sebastiano,
Thank you again for your great service. Everything about it was outstanding. The airport pick up and drop-off went very smoothly and the vehicle was very comfortable for the five of us and luggage. All three excursions (Etna, Siracuse and Local Godfather tour) were great. The drivers were on-time, very friendly, very knowledgeable and very flexible. In each case they also made excellent restaurant recommendations. You were a large part of making our vacation in the Toarmina area very enjoyable. I would gladly recommend you highly to others. You have a great company!

Hello Sebastiano, Here we are home again after a great trip and we would just like to say thank you for organising a great afternoon for us on the 5th June. We all agree that a weeks stay in the area would be one of our "wishes" for the future and should that ever occur we will be in touch.
Best regards

We have known Seby since we first traveled to Taormina nine years ago. He provides excellent, customized tours and ground service throughout Sicily.
We celebrated our 25th Anniversary on the May 16 sailing. Sebastiano arranged for Rosario and I to "RENEW OUR VOWS" in a 1500 year old church in a town high up the mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. After, we walked through the town of Taormina, ending with a private lunch in Castelmola with a specially baked "25th Anniversary Cake" by his father, the baker. Can't get more personalized service than that.
Happy Sailing to all future Azamara Quest and Journey passengers. You are in for a real treat!
